Happy Paws Pet Resort takes pride in keeping your pet happy and healthy.

Accommodations

Our accommodations for cats are 48 cubic feet and include 3 perching shelves. That's six feet by four feet by two feet of space to stretch out in two different sections with three perching shelves.

Our dog accommodations are all indoor/outdoor runs with a vertical sliding door dividing the inside and outside runs. The indoor runs are all 6' deep with widths ranging from 27" to 72". Most of the outdoor runs are 18' long. About 1/4 of the outdoor runs are 6' long. We like our guests to feel they have plenty of room to stretch out.

When the weather is cooperating, we can leave the doors open and our guests can decide for themselves if they want to be inside or outside. If it starts storming out, we do have to keep everyone inside much of the day. Also, if it gets too hot or too cold, the inside runs are all heated and air conditioned as needed.

Rates

Our rates for cats are $12.00 per night. Our rates for dogs are based on weight.

• Small Dogs (Under 25 lbs.): $20.00
• Medium Dogs (Up to 40 lbs.): $22.00
• Large Dogs (Up to 80 lbs.): $24.00
• Extra-Large Dogs (Over 80 lbs.): $26.00

We would also be delighted to board your exotic pet. Rates for these pets are generally $6.00 per night. Accommodations vary depending on the specific type of pet so please feel free to call us at (630) 668-5272 and ask.

Exercises

We are pleased to be able to offer several options for your pet's enjoyment during his or her stay with us.

Even though our dog enclosures are quite roomy, many dogs enjoy a chance to go out for a 5 to 10 minute walk on our fenced in property. We're happy to walk your dog as frequently as you'd like us to. Each walk is $1.00

While walks are nice, sometimes it's fun to get off the leash and just play. Playtimes consist of 20 minutes of playing tug, or fetch or even just sitting around getting petted or whatever your pet likes to do. Playtimes are $4.00 per 20 minute session.

We also offer kong treats in the evenings. Each kong has a small amount of peanut butter on the inside rim and an assortment of treats inside. Your dog will take great pleasure in working to get every last tasty morsel from within.

If your dog wants dessert but doesn't care for kong treats we also now offer Cookies and Cream treats! That's a Frosty Paws ice cream treat and two bakery shop cookies. Your dog will love it!

Bedding

While you're welcome to bring washable bedding from home you might find it easier to use ours. For a $2.00 laundering fee, we will place our own towels and/or blankets in your dog's run.

If your pet prefers to sleep on the furniture, you might consider getting one of our Kuranda Beds. These durable raised beds are perfect for lounging on. Your dog will love it! Kuranda beds cost $1.00 per night.

Additional Services

Sometimes it's hard to leave your pet alone all day while you're at work. If you find that to be the case, why not drop your dog off with us on your way to work and pick him or her up afterwards? That's right, we offer a doggy day boarding service. For $14.00 per day, you can drop off your dog after 6:30 AM on weekdays and pick him or her up again before 6:30 PM. Your pet will have access outside all day (weather permitting) as well as getting one are playtimes and an off floor bed at no additional charge.

We also now offer half-day daycare. If you need to bring your pet over for a few hours while you're having work done on the house we can help you out. For daycare stays under 5 hours the fee is only $7.00.
